Varyos API reference

OpenAPI for the Public API and the MCP facade, served against the live gateway. No login, no sign-up.

Get the subscription key in Varyos under Billing → API access. The console on this page sends Ocp-Apim-Subscription-Key to the gateway api.varyos.app — the documentation lives here, not on the gateway host.

Get a key

Keys are issued inside Varyos, not through a developer portal.

Sign in to Varyos.
Open Billing and choose API access.
Create access or copy an existing key.

Authentication

Every Public API and MCP Facade request sends the key in this header. Query parameters are not used.

Base URLs

Azure Front Door fronts the gateway. You do not need the API Management instance host.

Rate limits

The gateway throttles by key and by IP. The OpenAPI documents themselves are public.

OpenAPI fetch: 120 requests per minute per IP.
MCP: 60 requests per minute per IP.
Business API: fair use of your licence, plus rate-limit-by-key on the gateway.

MCP

AI clients call the MCP facade. The OAuth resource identifier must match the MCP endpoint.
